Does anyone else think they went overboard with these the last few seasons. I mean the villains almost always had stupid reasons for their targets. Its like they thought hey would randomly find the items they were looking for.

Its especially silly in Stars since they have true Star Seeds right in front of them in the Sailor Guardians . Yet they Kel targeting normal people for the most part. It wasn't until the end that they really went after the Senshi.

It actually made sense to target people with exceptional abilities. I agree they should have more aggressively went after the Sailor Soldier's Star Seeds. But targeting exceptionao peopke could have led them to Sailor Soldiers.

The odd part is how Galaxia knew to go after Mamoru right away and not the others.

No the real odd part was Galaxia trusting the animates to do anything. They were a bunch of morons.

Its funny because Galaxia was so powerful she was better off without them. Look at how many true star seeds she took on her own and how quickly she did it?

Stars would have been better off if the Inner Senshi lost their star seeds early on. Besides Moon of course. That way the Outers could get plenty of focus and it would play into Usagi's loneliness. The innes were pretty interchangeable and didn't do much on their own that season.

It wasn't as bad in S , since they found the meguffen a lot earlier. And the pure heart quest changed to actually being about acquiring the pure hearts themselves for energy.

It is funny that they didn't bother to save the hearts while they were looking for the talismans?

They actually tried a few times. The Senshi would stop them.

I prefer the format of the first season where they spent half of it looking for energy. The Rainbow Crystal Arch was short and sweet.
