Why is Dino Charge better than Megaforce?

Better introductions to the characters... all of the Warstar villains, Rangers and Rangers' allies were introduced in the first episode with very little explanation to anything whereas they didn't have introduce Riley in the first episode.
Better character development look we even have a minor rivalry between Kendall and Shelby.
Not all of the arsenal in Dino Charge is being Goseied "oh you've unlocked a new power here you go."
We have development even with the villains. Sledge and Poisandra are engaged. She hates the whole hunt for the Energems since all she wants is to marry Sledge whereas he cares more about the Energems than about her.

The fact it doesn't slave to the Sentai really makes it feel like a breath of fresh air. The characters are so much more.fun and believable. Everything moves at a nice pace. Their is no overuse of MMPR nostalgia. We have actual writers and not a bunch of glorified dubbers.

The characters are better fleshed out,they seem to have more personality,which also helps the plotting as well. Megaforce was very "paint by numbers".

I seriously think, not only is the characters and acting 10 times better...But so is the story and even the theme.

It just feels more like Power Rangers. Lynn has really added a spark to the show that has been missing for a long time. Dino Charge is fresh wheras Megaforce was paint by the numbers.

Dino Charge has been very good. But not as great as Superhero Megaforce. The season was amazing with all the team ups. Plus the characters reminded me of MMPR but made for the present. Plus we got two sets of Ranger Powers counting Megaforce.

Megaforce is one of my favorite seasons. I do think Super Mega was a bit of a step down. They should have kept going with the first theme. Megaforce had a great premere. I loved seeing High School Rangers again. All the call backs to past seasons were cool too. I really liked Troy as a leader. Gia.was such a good Ranger herself.

The first 10 minutes of the first episode alone had far more backstory than anything Megaforce had. The rangers have actual personalities and traits that are consistently displayed instead of something that was only mention in their Nick bios. The villains have defined personalities and goals beyond "Take over the world because we're evil". Original footage. It's actually trying to tell a story instead of just burning through whatever batch of Sentai footage they have. It has world-building. The mentor actually acts like a mentor. There's just so much.

Megaforce was mainly a sentai hack. Dino Charge is using its sentai footage to be its own show. It has been a tremendous improvement from the recent Neo Saban seasons. As well as most of the Kalish Era. Judd Lynn just gets it.
