How would the 95 movie being successful have changed the franchise history?

Superstatler

We would have got a few more movies..

Movie Ranger
04/06/17, 08:33 PM
We would have got a separate movie franchise with the main MMPR cast while the rest of the show would go on with the changing cast model..

MMPR Supreme
04/06/17, 08:36 PM
I think the movies would have picked up after the end of season 3 rather then follow the timeline of the first movie. Which would have annoyed people buying got us a ton of MMPR Movies. While Zeo would have been a fresh start for the TV product.

Ninja Kat
04/06/17, 08:38 PM
Kat would have most likely been part of the cast. AJJ still would have left by that point.

Yellow Fan Forever
04/06/17, 08:40 PM
Karen Ashley would probably still be replaced by Nakia or someone else.

Captain Mutiny
04/06/17, 08:41 PM
AJJ was contracted for another movie so she would have been back for at least one sequel like she was with Turbo.

Titanium Black
04/06/17, 09:31 PM
The series would have ended and they would have made movies instead.

MMPR Forever
04/06/17, 09:34 PM
Having Movies continue from season 3 would have been cool. Especially if they were better then the original movie. Which wasn't quite at the level of the MMPR series.

Wasn't the movie a success? We got a sequel?

Powermaster
04/07/17, 10:33 PM
I think we would have got the Turbo Movie and a Galaxy Film. Perhaps the team up with Space would have been saved for the movie.

Bratty Katty
04/07/17, 10:35 PM
Most likely. As long as Turbo wasn't too big of a flop in this scenario. But the find first movie doing well may have convinced them to try a third time.

Time For Time Force
04/07/17, 10:44 PM
I was disappointed when they didn't go through with the Time Force Movie.

MMPR Mania
04/08/17, 09:46 PM
They should have done a sequel to MMPR anyway. It would have done better than Turbo.

Doctor Dana
04/08/17, 09:50 PM
Wasn't the movie a success? We got a sequel?

Not really. It wasn't that successful. They just were committed to do a second movie which failed itself.

Lightspeed Rescue
04/08/17, 09:55 PM
I bet the would have got it back with a Lightspeed Threequel.

Doctor Dana
04/08/17, 09:57 PM
Too bad they never got the chance for one.

Zabitan
04/09/17, 09:33 PM
That's a good question.

I would have liked it if we got a Zeo movie, and maybe some movies about the other Saban superheroes.

Zeo Power
04/10/17, 12:40 AM
They should have done a Zeo movie instead of Turbo. Season 5 could have kept the Zeo Powers with the Turbo Zords.

Forever Jason
04/10/17, 12:42 AM
They could have had Jason replace Tommy if JDF really wanted to leave.

Everyone Loves Rocky
04/10/17, 12:44 AM
It would have made more sense to get Steve Cardensa to stay so he could be promoted back to Red.

Ransik Lives
04/20/17, 07:02 PM
The MMPR craze would have continued on a few more years.

Hailey Ziktor
04/21/17, 11:44 AM
Maybe DinoThunder would have happened sooner, if Toei cooperated.

MMPR Forever
04/23/17, 05:32 PM
MMPR would have lasted forever!

Kimberly Cares
04/24/17, 02:15 PM
I agree that we would have got a lot more MMPR.

Superstatler
04/24/17, 02:38 PM
They still would have switched to Zeo, there may have been an MMPR season 2/3 level budget though.

Spike Hart
04/24/17, 05:28 PM
MMPR would have lasted for five years.

Rangerlord
04/24/17, 06:19 PM
They still would have ran into problems with the sentai footage and cast changes. I am glad the original movie didn't do good. As much as I liked it as a kid, it wasn't in continuity. Which really bothers me now. Everything should be in continuity with the original show or its not Power Rangers to me.

Zordon's Legacy
04/24/17, 06:21 PM
They might have put up the money to continue MMPR for a fourth situation though.

Kody's Pride
04/24/17, 08:44 PM
I thought it was a big hit?

Superstatler
04/24/17, 08:52 PM
But like I said earlier the real benefit would have been additional sequels.
