We're getting closure to that era than we would have ever though in SPD. Obviously , the future of SPD won't happen.

They will probably just or preceed as if it isn't an issue and won't address it. Assuming the series is still on the air or not on haitius.

Nothing is going to happen. They won't aknowledge it and will just be business as usual.

Why can't SPD exist as its own city , basically cut off from the rest of the World? We already have a Space Colony out there that no one talks about.

I do wish they would have had it take place in 2125. If PR last that long we will take continuity holes like SPD.

Having SPD taken place even further in the future than it did probably would have been the best way to go. But they will probabky just ignore it in 2025. And it will one of those unexplained things. Similar to Galaxy. Who at least can say they were in outer space and later another planet.

It does present a problem. But they probably weren't worried about that when they did the show. Having it set 100 years later does make sense, like someone brought up. But they didn't go that route. That said I don't think it will be a big deal. Since if PR is still around by then, it will be a heck of an achievement. And a testament to its staying power.

I never really thought of it. I was too busy enjoying the show. Its one of my favorite seasons. I guess I wasn't really worried like 2025 like the producers. But I don't know all the behind the scenes stuff like some of you guys.
