As much as people like to give the Kalish era crap you have to admit they had great supporting characters. SPD had Kat, Boom, and Piggy. MF had Phineas, Leelee, and Claire. Operation Overdrive had Spencer and Jungle Fury had Fran.

Some would argue the supporting characters in MF were more interesting than the Rangers themselves.

They did.... But the problem was they sometimes took away from the Rangers. Especially in MF. Hich you xould argue was more about the supporting characters at times.

The only supporting character I liked was Spencer. He should have been the mentor of OO instead of that hack Hartford.

I wish Claire would have done more after the Gatekeeper episode.

Don't forget Doctor K and Colonel Truman

Kalish didn't work on RPM. Eddie Guzelian and Judd Lynn were in charge of the first and second half respectively.

The era of the show that had the best allies was MMPR

Why would you say that? MMPR was more about the Rangers than the allies. You just had Zordon , Alpha, and Ninjor over three seasons. Curtis and Richie were only in a few episodes. Bulk and Skull weren't really allies in the sense we are talking about there.

Bulk and Skull were allies in the same sense Leelee, Piggy, and Phineas were. Besides they saved the team on one or two occastions. I don't agree with MMPR having the best allies.

The Kalish Era was good when it was like the original seasons. When it was too much like the bad Sentai like ones, it was bad.

The Kalish era was too much like Sentai.
