As much praise Space gets. I think sometimes people forget the whacky episodes it had. Like "Grandma Matchmaker " and "Andros And The Stowaway", and the episode with the good bee monster. I'm not bashing the season at all. Just pointing out there was some off the wall episodes in Space too.

Thats when Space was at its best. Its a shame there weren't more episodes like that.

MMPR Forever

Those episodes made it more like MMPR. But there wasn't enough of them. I did like the Surf Spot scenes. Sadly Space spent too much time trying to be a sci-fi show.

Every season isn't perfect. Space had more than enough great episodes and moments to make up for them.

Thats why its funny when people accused Space and Time Force fans of wanting PR to be too dsro. Since even the darker seasons have levity.

Those are definitely my least favorite episodes. But they still can't ruin what was a great season.

PR is always whacky. Its just not whacky enough for my tastes sometimes. Some of these episodes did remind me of Turbos's greatness. Being the same cast helped that.

"Grandma's Matchmaker" was pretty bad. The whacky episodes didnt ruin the season by any means..

I liked that we got to know more about Ashley and see what her grandmother was like.

Goldar's Revenge

It was odd seeing Carlos and Ashley pretend to be a couple when they seemed to like each other in there debut. Of course that was dropped soon after.

They went out after they first met and decided they weren't right for each other romantically. But decided to be good friends. Thats why there pairing was so awkward in "Grandma's Matchmaker". An episode that loses its meaning in for western audiences.

PR never totally gets way from its whimsical side.

Most of the oddness was .during the first half . But it was sprinkled around the morning serious stuff.

Those were a few of the episodes I actually liked.

I love wacky episodes. I think I actually mentioned this already. But these episodes reminded me of Turbo.

"Matchmaker" was weird because they followed the Megaranger episode closely for that. And the whole concept of a grandmother acting like a matchmaker was old Japanese practice. So it didn't translate well to PR. Especially when the actress playing the grandmother was told to act just like the Sentai Counterpart. Which didn't translate well either.

That was a bad decision to follow the Sentai episode so closely. But I guess it was a necessarily evil since they already were fighting the Megaranger footage pretty hard with the Space Theme.

The whole idea of a grandmother helping the Rangers fight monsters is pretty far fetched.

They they repeated the mistake in Lightspeed.

The cratorite episode was pretty awkward and bizzare. Especially for a season like Space.

The turtles episode was pretty crazy too. It was weird how the Turtles were suddenly part of the PRU. Plus the Turtles taking over the Megaship was just strange.

yea it was a necessary evil since they were stuck with dealing with the Megaranger footage anyway.

The whole idea of a grandmother helping the Rangers fight monsters is pretty far fetched.

yea that was a weird episode but they really couldn't do anything about it since the car scenes were in the footage.

They they repeated the mistake in Lightspeed.

true but if I recall correctly that was a Lightspeed Rescue thing and not a GoGoV thing.

The cratorite episode was pretty awkward and bizzare. Especially for a season like Space.

I don't really agree that it was awkward or bizarre.

The turtles episode was pretty crazy too. It was weird how the Turtles were suddenly part of the PRU. Plus the Turtles taking over the Megaship was just strange.

I don't see anything wrong with that but technically it was Astronema who was piloting the ship. Donatello is just the one who had re-wired D.E.C.A. which was perfectly logical since he's a genius.

It just seemed weird to have the foot soldiers from Megaranger randomly inserted into the show. And it nothing to do with Astronema. The B plot with the kid was unneeded. The acting by the disguised cratorites was very bad

Space Hero

They were incorporated into the training sequences. And the episode explained how the lightening brought them to life. It wasn't the best Space episode. But it wasn't a bad or weird episode.
