I think the sequel should have the director of Power/Rangers take the helm . Dan Israelite tried hard but I think we need Khan's vision. His short film was the tone to go with. I think thats the kind of film people want to see.

Never! That would be even worse than the movie we got. Which tried to be lighthearted sometimes. Even if they failed miserably overall. Power/Rangers was a horrible adaption of the series.

I agree about it being a bad idea. Power RAngers is like Trix, its for kids.

The show is there for the kids. The movies are for the grown ups.

Eh, it would be an interesting idea. But I think they should stick with Israelite and the story they have now.

Power/Rangers only works as a sorta serious parody of Hollywood's blockbuster adaptations. It doesn't work as a true Power Rangers film. And was never intended to be for anything more than a short.

The movies are for everyone.

Right, the movies are just for a more general audience. They haven't completely given up on the kids. Not by a long shot actually.

They would be foolish to just have the movies be only grown ups. They would lose out on toy sales. Its why the movie was made to be rated pg 13. Franchises like Marvel, Star Wars, and Transformers all market to a general audience in this way while still being very accessible to children.

The movies are still for the whole family. There not solely adult movies. I don't think we will see a film as dark as Power/Rangers.

Power/Rangers was never really meant for the fans anyway. Certainly not the fans of the franchise still active today.

I don't think Bandai would like them getting too dark.

Power/ Rangers felt more like film people having fun with the concept. It was never a launching point for anything else.

I would hate to lose Dan Israelite, he seems tk have a good vision. He made a good movie which actually performed decently.

I'd like to see what he could do. But not as a continuation of the Power/Rangers film.

I just think that Khan has the best vision for the movie franchise. If I would have been unrealistic I would have said Wes Craven.

This is the last thing they should do is go with a Power/Rangers full length movie.

Too many continuity errors for me .

Power/Rangers isn't the answer.

Let's face it. There isn't going to be a sequel. This is the last Power Rangers movie we will be getting for a long time. The movie didn't do well enough. Studios don't invest in movies unless they are big enough money makers.

It made no sense to me why Rocky would go bad.

A Khan type movie would still have to be toned down. Since they went intentionally over the top with the darkness.
