I think the movie would have been more interesting and the series. I'm not sure who would replace Rocky in the middle.

Rocky as Turbo Blue would have been awesome! In the second half he could have become Red and led the new team.

I think in that scenario they would have have Justin be an ally, basically the adopted mascot of the Rangers. Who becomes Blue after "Passing of the Torch".

Either that or just have Rocky take back the powers when he gets better. Until the cast change of course.

Well Justin was pretty obnoxious, so I think in that sense it would have been better.

That being said Rocky really never made much impact to me despite his being on the show so long. Up until the second half of Turbo I never thought any of the Rangers who came in to replace anyone had any real impact or personality, save Kat. Even when they got episodes focusing on them they never gave any real character development or insight into them.

Rocky, Adam, Aisha, and Tanya all felt like they were just there to divide the dialogue between six people instead of three and because the Sentai footage dictated there had to be six of them.

They did seem to make an effort to give him some kind of personality in Zeo but it felt like too little too late.

Again, better to be bland than annoying like Justin, so I do think the first half would have been better in that sense. But while I am sure the actor is a nice guy and respect he has his fans, I never really felt like him leaving was any great loss.

Rocky would have been better. If you do need to make Justin Blue in the second half, it would have worked.

Even with Zeo Rocky, it would have been much better.

I think the writers had problems giving Rocky an identity until Zeo. Since he was just a bland version of Jason that failed to live up to him in MMPR. That said, Turbo Rocky wluld have been preferable. The cast change and addition of Andros in Space does make Justin more of a necessary evil for his critics.

Turbo wouldn't have been the same without Justin.

I don't think Cardensa was ever going to stay.

Power Rangers changed way too much of its cast too soon after MMPR.

I think people just gave Justin a hard time because he was a kid. He was actually a pretty good character. He was more interesting than Rocky.

Rocky was one of the last links to MMPR. He needed to stick around. I don't know why they wrote him off. Justin made more sense as a Beetleborg's character.

I thought they wrote him off mostly because Cardenas wanted to leave.

I assumed that too..

Cardensa wanted to leave and they tried to incorporate Justin for ratings. It didn't work out since ratings didn't stabilize until the second Turbo Cast.

They should have had Justin be 14. It would have made more sense and still allowee him to be the young guy on the team.

I don't think Rocky could have saved Turbo. It did get better in the second half. Particularly in the end.
