I agree but only in some cases.

MMPR-Turbo = Zordon being the Mentor was fine but we shouldn't have had any replacements for him.

Space/Galaxy = No Mentor and this was fine.
Lightspeed = Captain Mitchell and this was time. He generally didn't tell them what to do he just told them about alerts.

Time Force = No Mentor and this was fine.
Wild Force = while Shayla was in the Mentor role she really wasn't a Mentor and this was fine.
Ninja Storm = Sensei and this was fine.
Dino Thunder = Tommy was the Mentor which was fine.
S.P.D = Cruger was in the Mentor role due to being the Commander but he really didn't do much mentoring.
Mystic Force = Udonna was their Mentor and this was fine.
Overdrive = Andrew was the one that was in the Mentor role but he really wasn't a Mentor and this was fine.
Jungle Fury = RJ was a Mentor and how he did Mentoring was fine.
Dr. K = while she was in the Mentor role she wasn't really a true Mentor and that was fine considering her character.
Samurai = Mentor Ji was the Mentor but really they shouldn't have had a Mentor.
Megaforce = Gosei was the Mentor and while he didn't do any mentoring what he did was fine.
Dino Charge = Keeper was the Mentor and what he did was fine.
Ninja Steel = no Mentor and this is fine.

for me my favorite Mentors would be Zordon, Tommy and Cruger.
