Power Rangers Hyper Force

I thought I would edit in the rules of the game so that it's easier for people to follow on.



All cast roll D6 which is a regular 6-sided die but with the number 6 replaced by the Power Rangers lightning bolt
Civilian Rangers roll 1 die (1 D6)
Morphed Rangers roll 2 D6 for "succeed or not succeed" roll and the damage roll if they succeed.
Zord-piloted Rangers roll 3 D6
Megazord-piloted by 5 Rangers 4 of the 5 roll 1 D6 while the main pilot rolls 2 and the overall total of their Megazord roll for all 5 Rangers is what's counted as the roll
a Ranger need to have a minimum of a full D6 of energy which is I believe 5 points of energy in order to morph.
a Ranger needs to have a minimum of 3 D6s of energy before they can call for their zords.
when a Ranger morphs they get a 10 HP bonus
when a Ranger calls for their zord they get around a 200 HP bonus
when the Hyperforce Rangers activate their Megazord it's 500 HP but it only acts as a single character
The GM or the twitch extension (extension only available via desktops and laptops) can award energy. The GM decides on when she should award energy.
Teamwork rolls. There's no limit to how many you can have helping you out you can get to the general maximum of 4 Rangers helping you out if you want all 4 to help you out but generally a Hyperforce Ranger sticks to 1 member helping them out. All Rangers involved in the act must roll as normal but if either of them fail then the teamwork action fails and the turn ends.

The GM rolls her D6 selection depending on who the villain is.
She rolls 1 D6 for most weak ones like Putties and Grinders.
She rolls 3 or more for the monster-of-the-week
She rolls 4 or more for a General or a Giant Monster

yup that it has been I thought the recent references were cool so Hyper Force is in line with the show's continuity but whether Saban truly considers it a part of continuity is unknown but my guess is probably not since it's just meant to be a fun game but to gauge exactly where Hyper Force is at in 1994 we know they (the MMPR) couldn't have been off planet like Alpha 55 claimed in the recent episode since the only time they had went off planet in Season 2 was to go to the Deserted Planet and because they did the whole Sabrina/Scorpina thing that would also indicate that Scorpina had likely been posing as her for awhile so my guess is that by being off-planet the MMPR probably weren't in the current time period or it's possible they could've been in the mansion that was blocking their powers that an evil Alpha 5 kept on sending them to in "The Wedding"

I'll admit I would like it if they made some kind of home version of this or some Power Rangers Tabletop RPG if only because I never got into the Tabletop RPG scene so maybe I will if there's a Power Rangers game.

I have seen 4 episodes so far. I only managed to see one full episode live, so far. Having to go to bed didn't help me watch a full episode. I have to wait until it goes on Youtube to watch a full episode. I fear that the regular Power Rangers series will get cancelled after 2018, leaving the Hyper RPG to continue the series beyond 2018. :sad:

anyway the episode last night was awesome and I'm still stunned, shocked and emotionally drained from it.

yes he's 1 of the legendary Rangers so whether you like it or not he'll always be back.

yea it's nice he's appearing on the show but he won't mention anything about who Tommy marries or what his character's love life possibly could be. He's not going to mention anything show-wise they leave that up to the GM. They have specific guidelines that they have to follow otherwise they could get into hot water with Saban.

The Tommy that we'll see is one of the following options:
1993-1994 MMPR Green
1994-1995 MMPR White
1996 Zeo Ranger V/Red Zeo Ranger
1997 Red Turbo Ranger
2004 Dino Thunder Black Ranger

probably but depends on who they can get since a few of them have good options. Cerina and Archie probably aren't options due to how busy they likely are which means it'd have to be Russell, Reggie, Valerie, Melody or Danny. I don't know how Danny would feel about it since he's a lawyer since playing a RPG might be seen as a goofy thing for a lawyer to do and as for Space I really don't have a clue but I'm guessing it'll either be Justin, Roger, Selwyn or Christopher. The girls (Patty and Tracy) don't seem to be that crazy about the spotlight so I don't think they would be willing to do it.

I just wonder what they'll do for the Disney seasons since those would be more problematic.

Wild Force = won't be Ricky due to being in jail. Probably won't be Phillip Andrew since he's as much of a lone wolf as his character is.
Ninja Storm = Sally and maybe Pua reside in New Zealand. Jason I believe is a Kiwi but he resides in Singapore. Glenn and Adam are Australian. Jorgito is Canadian so Jorgito would be their only option.

Dino Thunder = James and Emma are Kiwis but if I recall correctly Emma resides in Canada. Kevin and Jeff are also Canadian so James is the only one who can't be there.

SPD = all of B-Squad can be there so they would have 5 options.
Mystic Force = might be the first team that they wouldn't be able to get anyone. Richard, Angie, Melanie and Firass are all Australian. Nic is Kiwi.
Overdrive = Sam is British but I don't know if he resides in London, England but he wouldn't be allowed back anyway since Saban is aware of how much he's hated in the community.
Rhoda is British and was born in London but whether she lives there I don't know.
Gareth, Caitlin and James are Australians while Dwayne is a Kiwi so that might be team number 2 that won't have a guest star.
Jungle Fury = Jason Smith, Aljin and Nikolai are Australians however Nikolai works on the Netflix Daredevil show. Anna and David are both Kiwi and they're still active so they might be the best bet provided they're working in the U.S.
RPM = not really needed since we've already seen Mike (Gem) so they probably won't go back to Corinth unless they have a 2nd season.

now let's check out the neo-Saban era shall we?

Samurai = The first 6 are American however Kimberley (Lauren) is a Kiwi so they have 6 options possibly 5 depending on how busy Steven is.
Megaforce = I think all 6 human actors in Super Megaforce would be options since I think all 6 are Americans. I know Christina, John and Andrew are Americans and I'm pretty sure Ciara and Cameron are Americans as well.
Dino Charge = Michael (Riley the Green Ranger,) Camille and Brennan are Americans and I'm pretty sure Yoshi is an American as well. I think Davi (Ivan) probably is. James (Chase, Black Ranger) is a Kiwi. Jarred (Phillip) is a Kiwi while Claire is an American
Ninja Steel = Zoe (Hayley) and Jordi (Levi) are Kiwi while the other 4 are Americans... at least I know Chrysti, Nico and William are Americans but I'm pretty sure Peter is an American as well.

But I said it would turn out to not be our RPM. It would be another parallel universe based off of Eddie's full vision. So they wouldn't be changing the real RPM.

doesn't matter since if it's not part of the real RPM continuity then they can't touch it. Saban would have their head if they did something like that.
They're only allowed to touch the true seasons (MMPR-Galaxy, Lightspeed-Time Force, all Disney seasons, all neo-Saban seasons)

of course they can I'm sure they're going to go to every season and try to get a rep from the team but some teams might not get a rep.

For Zeo they could ask Cat, Nakia, Steve or Johnny.
For Turbo they could ask Cat, Nakia, Steve, Johnny, Roger, Blake or Selwyn. I don't think Patricia or Tracy would be that thrill about the game.

again no they can't. They can't do something if it wasn't part of the actual season that's why they're treading very carefully on how they pick stuff so they don't screw anything up with the show's continuity.

their Angel Grove eps for example had both Scorpina and Finster 2 beings who pretty much disappeared in Season 2. We don't see Finster again until Rita comes back for the love spell and Wedding.

They can go to the RPM dimension but it has to be the true RPM dimension they're not allowed to deviate from the true RPM dimensionn.

they probably didn't want to go back to MMPR so soon so they probably opted to go with Reefside that and he was probably the easiest Dino Thunder cast member to get.

revisit Ninja Storm? they haven't even went there yet they've only been to Angel Grove, Corinth, Briarwood and Newtech but I'm sure they'll head by Blue Bay at some point once Malika figures out a plan for the episode.

I'm sure they will they just need to figure out a guideline for the episode. It's not really scripted but there are bullet points that they write out.

The first question is where do they place the episode? if they place it before the premiere of that season like they did with RPM and S.P.D. then they have to figure out who to bring in (guest or NPC) that would make sense so it brings out that season's nostalgia. The next part is that if they decide to place it during the season then where would you place it and can you bring any actors in? Now in Ninja Storm's case most actors wouldn't be available due to Hyper RPG's budget
