According to what I know of them, neither of these series had any Kamen Riders pertaining to the typical bug motife. Which made up for that in lovely aesthetics? Which season made it the least noticeable?

Hibiki's captured me more, I like the suits and the weapons. However, They were just, too cool that I actually thought it was a dark gothic based series before watching the show it self.

If you want the "Shiny plastic" appeal, go for Ryuki. If you want the "Gothic and dark arts" look, go for Hibiki. Purely in terms of aesthetics though. In terms of which series is better, Hibiki, Hibiki is probably the best series of any Kamen Rider. It's got the best character development out of any series, it's got some kick ass OSTs and vocal songs, nice to hear something different from the usual Rider Chips. And! It doesn't retcon its ending.
