12 players received one-year, $15.3MM qualifying offers. Max Scherzer, Victor Martinez, Hanley Ramirez, Pablo Sandoval, James Shields, Russell Martin, Nelson Cruz, David Robertson, Ervin Santana, Francisco Liriano, Melky Cabrera and Michael Cuddyer had all rejected their qualifying offers as well.

Strangely the Mets still ended up signing Cuddyer even though that meant they had to lose their top pick for signing him so the new drafting order will be in the next post...

Also Detroit ended up resigning Victor Martinez so that now takes us down to 10 players remaining that are tied to draft pick compensation.

Now because I don't know how the order will precisely go for the sandwich round I'm not going to list them anymore in the case of the drafting order but I will continue with update with the rest of the known drafting order.

12 players received one-year, $15.3MM qualifying offers. Max Scherzer, Victor Martinez, Hanley Ramirez, Pablo Sandoval, James Shields, Russell Martin, Nelson Cruz, David Robertson, Ervin Santana, Francisco Liriano, Melky Cabrera and Michael Cuddyer had all rejected their qualifying offers as well
Victor Martinez re-signed with the Tigers so we can take him out of that listing which means it took it down to 11 players.

Max Scherzer, Hanley Ramirez, Pablo Sandoval, James Shields, Russell Martin, Nelson Cruz, David Robertson, Ervin Santana, Francisco Liriano, Melky Cabrera and Michael Cuddyer had all rejected their qualifying offers as well

Boston signed Hanley and Pablo which means they lose 2 draft picks and both the Giants and Dodgers were given sandwich picks because of which.
Russell Martin signed with Toronto which means the Pirates will get a sandwich pick.
Nelson Cruz signed with the Mariners so the Orioles will receive a sandwich pick.
Michael Cuddyer signed with the Mets so the Rockies have a sandwich pick.

That goes down from 11 to 6.

3. Rockies
4. Rangers
5. Astros

7. Red Sox (Boston keeps its pick due to being a protected pick even though it signed Pablo and Hanley and as a result they lose their Round 2 and Round 3 picks.)

10. Phillies
11. Reds (I believe this is the last protected pick.)

Now it goes down even further with more signings. White Sox signed Robertson which means to goes down to 5 and that means they lose their second round pick and the Yankees get a sandwich pick which is usually considered to be Round 2 on Draft Day.

Liriano re-signed with the Pirates so nothing happens there with draft picks but now we're down to 4 so now we're just waiting for Max Scherzer, James Shields, Ervin Santana and Melky Cabrera to sign.
