Dom's MMPR fan film website no more

So it appears the domain for the films fan film as expired and there is no movement to release anything. So after raising 40,000 on kickstarter it now feels like the whole thing was a scam or a project that will never get completed. The whole thing was pretty controversial anyway. This has nothing to do with that short fan film with Katie Slackhoff. This is the dark MMPR reboot fan film Dom was making. The one that had that dark preview with Zedd. Too bad all the people who donated got screwed here. Its been years now.

It's a pity that Dom didn't get his fan film made. People who gave money to that fan film should be able to watch it. :sad:

Thats one of the problems with Kickstarter, its easy for people to get taken advantage of. Especially with fan films.

Something like this happened in the wrestling fandom four or five years ago. And it was a real director/producer. He got money to produce a serial wrestling program. The product was shot ...But it was never edited or released to this day.

The fan film seemed to have promise at first but after awhile it became clear it was going nowhere. Its too bad all those people donated and got nothing for it.

Thats why I don't trust kickstarter unless its from a reputable party that has credibility. If its a charity type thing that sounds legit I would donate.
