Writing Contest

Well, I gave Razi this idea, but first I decided to do a little check on how many people would actually be interested in writing and submitting their work.

Edit: For whatever reason, the "No" option didn't appear...my mistake, sorry!

I might write it depends on what the requrements would be and the topics.

Well I suppose the first one might just be PR related...I don't know, it'd be nice if the contest would relate with whatever the theme of this place will be...

I found an interesting idea on another forum, to write about the actual act of waiting...which would be very interesting.

Oh...I suppose that'd be the beauty of it, although I would want to start off with a poem.

Yeah we've all seen how long it takes me to put anything up with the fic I am writing now.

But this may also be the excuse I needed to make myself write a few more poems.

Haha and my DT fic that needs a-updatin'... but yeah, this sounds fun, but I dunno if I'd have the time...

Well for once I might make an update in less than two weeks.

I do have the problem that I have a list of events that need to happen and I can't stop myself from adding things as I type up the Chapters. Then I have to read through it all again and make it all make sense. I just hope I have done a decent job of doing that.

And just a suggestion but if this is gonna be a one time only thing than why not do it in the summer when most of us won't have school to contend with.

If it's gonna be a monthly thing than that's cool too.

My muse hit me in a dream. Once my schedule dies down, I have to update, and write like crazy.......there's a spring break goal!

I have to get all of my stuff back together anyway.

Just another suggestion since so many of us have time restrictions why not do this like so many times a year.

Also I still think it should be a once every three months thing cause like Razi said it takes some of us a very long time to write things.

Thanks razi and greywolf, lately I've been really busy with chores, homework and studies for my coming exam next week. :D I'm so happy to be back.
Yeah i would love to write for a contest, I think it's time I challenged my creativity. :)

I have a question. Would the writing contest be about anything...not just EKL. cause EKL fanfics and storys i have trouble with.

I think it would be different topics each time.

Speaking of whick does any body have an idea for the first topic?

The topics would be pretty open. So, I think I will come up with a few basic rules, and post them later.

I don't even quite fit that right now since it has been a month and a half since my last update. But don't give up on me yet I am still working on it.

I don't understand, will the topics be given? :P

I think there will be a theme wether it be love, violence, adult, etc. and you can submit any kind of work as long as it follows the theme, and we would of course be given ample time to write it. what I want to do though is come up with rules, and then go from there.
