Then Power Rangers would have never been and Super Sentai would never be part of US Western Culture at all. Who knows if it would have lasted as long without the partnership wih Power Rangers.

I can't see dubbed Zyuranger capturing the imagination of children like MMPR. The American Actors connected with the Western Audiences better. And dubbed live action is a turn off for some.

You got subbed Zyuranger and a bunch of other Sentais the past several years ( on dvd/streaming). Just be happy you got that. The audience for Super Sentai just isn't as mainstream as PR.

I agree, MMPR was much better in the long run for Zyuranger's popularity. Those of us not exposed to anime or Japanese Toku would never have even known about it without Power Rangers. And I am gonna guess thats a lot less then know about in now.

MMPR just had its own charm and was really its own series .Especially once you get to the second and third seasons.

MMAS was a disgrace and should never have been allowed to disacret the greatness of Super Sentai. I would rather Seuper Sentsi be less popular if it erased American Sentai from existence.

Sorry, the idea we would have been better off with dubbed Zyuranger is laughable. The fact Power Rangers exists is better for both brands. Dubbed Sentai wouldn't have gotten over in the states close to the level MMPR did.

Fox Kids wouldn't have greenlit this. Nor would anyone else at the time. There is a reason why the dubbed Bioman pilot from several years prior wasn't picked up.

Yes, it was never going to happen back then. And now we have the best of both worlds..Now that a lot of Sentais have been subbed on dvd and streaming.
