He seemed act very rudely and was much more sarcastic from the Jason we all remembered.

He clearly fell on some hard times since we last saw him. His personality became a little darker but he was still good deep down. I suspect he will be in a much better place when we see him in Beast Morphers.

I didn't like it because Jason never acted like that before. And he would never have been so mean to Cole.

That was the implication. Jason had fallen on hard times and did become a rougher character. Its possible there were physical after effects to the Gold Ranger Powers. So his life might not have been a picnic afterwards. Its implied he had a run in with the Silver Guardians.

I think it is realisitic that the Rangers wouldn't all act the same from when we last saw them. Remember Jason was gone for years and things can change.

I think Jason was just trying to push Cole to be the best. I don't think he had a falling out with Tommy. He just meant that he was coming to help because he was a friend. Tommy was worried he wasn't coming since everyone was gathered and there was no Jason.

I never bought the whole Jason/Tommy split. I think it was bad writing. Forever Red involved too much backstory that we were supposed to know. It came off like a fan film for that reason. Jason never should have acted the way he did. It was way out of character.

That didn't work for me either. The whole Rookie/veteran dynamic wasn't needed either. It just didn't fit Power Rangers or the characters.

Cole acted pretty consistently. SInce he was naive most of the time.

The only part of Forever Red I didn't like was the fact Tommy was in it.

I took it as more that Jason and Tommy went there separate ways and hadn't seen each other in years. But Jason came because of old time's sake. Tommy was just worried he wasn't going to show.

As for Jason, well I agree he had a harder edge overall. He just must have had a hard few years. I suspect he will be more lighthearted in the upcoming team up.

I was just glad to have Jason back. Tommy and Jason just had the Good Ranger/Bad Ranger act going on.

I could see Jason eventually going to the dark side due to his jealousy of Tommy.

Jason and Tommy had a fallen out over Hexagon. Jason was adamantly opposed to it and felt they had too much power. That they crossed the line and threatened freedomes. He believed in individual Ranger teams being left to there own devices unless they actively asked for help. Tommy wasn't sure if Jason would endorse a Hexagon Operation like the one he and Andros were planning.

No doubt we would have saw a civil war between Ranger teams led by Tommy against those led by Jason.
