pretty much this. Venjix was just going to be what you saw. The only major difference that we might've seen (if it got through the Disney censors) was that Venjix would actually be controlling Dillon as a machine in the end and would actually be one of the villains in the end if I recall correctly. Based on what I recall everything memory-wise Dillon given was going to be a fake memory so there were no plans to re-do the whole Astronema/Andros storyline with him and Tenaya.

He was a story editor during Power Rangers Wild Force and also wrote both teamups. He came back to do some job in Samurai and wrote at least 2 episodes but not sure if he quit or was fired.

He was a superfan that ran Power Rangers Online Archives while.he went to film school. He had ties with some of the cast and crew at the time. He ended upnas the story editor for Wild Force.

Due to Disney shutting down MMPR productions, Amit got laid off. Before that he laid out an outline for a verison of Ninja Storm that would have invovled the return of several old Rangers. Most former teams being part of a orginziation led by Tommy. The Wind Ranger would have worked for Hexagon. Jason and the Thunders would have led a faction of Rangers that was against Hexagon. But this was all scrapped when the new production team took over.

When Saban Brands took over again Amit came back as a consultant for Samurai. He wrote a rough outline that was never used, as well as a rejected one for another possible season. He left the show again after Samurai.

My whole thing with Amit is he seems to think that because he wrote for the show that his ideas that didn't make it are still more legitimate then other peoples ideas.

Like the fact that he thinks Scorpion Rain is cannon because of Forever Red or that his idea for a Go Buster adaptation only didn't happen because Saban skipped Go Buster.

yea he does have a pretty big head that's for sure granted some of his ideas were definitely good but other ideas weren't that good.

Indeed I think the stuff he wrote is pretty good I just don't think it means his other stuff happened even iuf he thinks it does.

On the subject of Venjix I don't know what the original idea was but sometimes I like to imagine maybe RPM was actually a prequel that took place on another planet a long time ago about the origins of the Machine Empire.
