It was never explained why she left after Zedd showed up. And then she showed up for one random episode, only to disappear for good.

It had to do with not having the original suit for use in the American Scenes.

The writers probably ran out of ideas. She wasn't a very good character and only existed because of this Sentai footage.

Scorpina didn't have any redeemable qualities. Astronema had her moments before turning good.

I think she could have felt bad for what she did to Adam and switch sides. I thought she and Adam made a good couple until the ruse was discovered. I could see Scorpina realizing she was really in love with Adam. Who wouldn't be?
