No they wouldn’t have, they spent money only to sacrifice what made the show great which were the fight scenes but they still used the same suits or looks if it suited them
Look at Kapri and Marah from Ninja Storm, they are both wearing the same exact wardrobe as their Sentai counterparts. Why? Simple so they could edit them around Japanese fight footage unfortunately their attempt to hide it was very noticeable
