Darien and Serena forever!
 

I will always use the Dic English names. I just can't use the Japenese names. To me Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask will always be Darien and Serena. Im a huge fan of the original dub. But only until the Doom Tree Arch. Never got into the Black Moon Family episodes. Nor anything from the other dubs. The Viz dub doesn't interest me. I have been watching Crystal though. Since I like the dark kingdom arch. Its okay they just rush through stuff too much. Don't like the use of Japenese names.

I'm a big fan of Serena and Darien as well but I will use the Japanese names in some cases depending on what I'm discussing with someone and depending on if I actually remember them like in the cases of Serena and Darien I will use those names in reference to the DiC and Cloverway dubs but otherwise I will use Usagi and Mamoru as their names.

Same thing with Ami instead of Amy
Minako instead of Mina
Rei instead of Raye
Mako (or Makoto) instead of Lita
Haruka instead of Amara
Michiru instead of Michelle
Setsuna instead of Trista

Kunzite instead of Malachite

Chibiusa (or Chibi-usa or Chibi-Usa) instead of Rini.

Dark Kingdom instead of Negaverse. (this is one exception I will make, I will always refer to this as the Dark Kingdom regardless of the version I'm discussing)

Queen Metallia instead of Negaforce. (this is another exception I will make, it will always be Metallia instead of Negaforce)

Funny how Hotaru got to keep her original name. I like to use the Japenese names these day. The concept of a demension like the Negaverse is interesting to think about if you go by the Dic Dub Mythology.

I mainly use the old dub names. But I'm a huge fan of the DIC dub as well.

yea it is funny considering she's the only one out of the Soldiers that got to keep her name although technically both Rei and Amy kept their names as well it's just a different spelling and Mina's name you could argue is just an abbreviated version of Minako.

yea it is interesting to think about in regards to the concept of the Negaverse dimension but I didn't like the idea of it since they made it extend to Alan and Ann.

Yeah I am used to The Dark Kingdom now. I remember thinking that was wierd when I first heard it.

it actually made sense when I first found out about the Japanese version.

I thought some of the things were just too weird... like who would call an entity the Negaforce?

One thing I liked about Negaforce was you didn't have the confusion of having two queens. Also the Dic dub seemed to focus more as Beryl as the main antagonist. I have gotten used to the Matallia name though.

very true but they didn't have the same story as in Crystal or the manga.

The basic story was still there. The dub did change a lot of wordings and the gender of Zoycite. As I mentioned they made Beryl more of the antagonist than Mattilla. They cut a lot of the finalie for another major change. They had the same story overall but were their own adaption.
