Ninja Storm Episode 3 Discussion "Perlude To A Storm"

So I just watched "Prelude To The Storm" the other day. Which is the first episode of Ninja Storm. It holds up pretty well. Its amazing how much fun it is once you aren't upset about the production changes and nostalgic for Time Force.

I can really see why kids liked Ninja Storm. The characters we're more relateable to kids. Plus some of the campiness was back. It was really a fun episode.

Lothor, despite his comedy had a real edge in this episode. Even Marah and Kapri looked badass ( that wouldn't last long obviously lol). The takeover of the Ninja Acadamy was well done and epic. The battle between Sensei and Lothor was good.

It was nice to see the Rangers as they started out, kids with potential who weren't focused enough on their Ninja Studies. It made sense to have the only students left be the ones lowest in the class. Cam's lines making fun of them we're funny. Its easy to see why he quickly became a fan favorite.

It was funny seeing Tori's lines about Power Rangers not being real. I remember the stir that once caused. Thankfully its proven in DinoThunder that NS is still in the main Power Rangers timeline. It was funny how everyone overreacted at the time.

The Ninja Storm theme song is just awesome. Probably one of the best themes in franchise history. The locations were very fresh at the time. Since it was the first time they filmed in New Zealand. The episode itself was tightly produced. One episode debuts can be a challenge. But the episode did what it needed to do here.

NS Discussion "No I In Team"

This was a good episode to introduce us to Shane. more. We saw that he is the leader type. I like how the new crisis made Shane become more dedicated to his training. It made sense since they are now in the real thing and not just training at Ninja School.

The Zord introductions worked fine here. It was nice to see the Zords do something before forming the Megazord. Good to have the old theme plays during Megazord finisher tradition back.

Marah and Kapri provided for good comedic relief. Lothor had some good one-liners. The introduction of the Thunder Rangers at the end makes them look threatening.
