Good for her. A lot of actors get into directing later on the carreers. It does sound like she enjoys it.

I think this is a really good opportunity for Amy. I hope her movie does well and she has a long career telling the stories she wants to tell.

A lot of actors seem to try the director route. It makes sense, especially if and when they leave their acting careers' behind.
