Why did Goldar Hate Rita

It was kind of odd how he hated her so much in season 2? Since he seemes so loyal to her in season 1?

Maybe they had a fallout before Zordon trapped them into the dumpster. Goldar was actually Lord Zedd's minion, as per events in "The Mutiny": Goldar used to have wigs before the events in MMPR S1, was assigned to Rita and failed to do a mission under her command. Zedd takes away his wings and he gains his S1 look and that's exactly why he had a fallout with her. Somehow, he blamed her for his failure. When Zedd comes back, he is happy with Goldar's work as a warrior and chooses to give Goldar his original from and wings back. Until that happened, Goldar had no other choice but to put his feelings aside because he knew Rita was going to fail at defeating the Rangers and conquering the World, so he just waited for the right moment to say everything to her face. But than she got back to him with marrying Zedd, so he had to accept her once again, but this time as his master's wife.

He had to stay on her good side when she was in charge. But once Zedd came back, he no longer had to pretend to be loyal to her. Especially since Zedd clearly was mad at Rita. He had no idea Rita was peuld come back and marry Zedd. Goldar tried his best to make that not happen since he couldn't just go back to pretending Rita was his bbf. As in Best Boss Forever.

Wouldn't you hate Rita if you worked for her and had to kiss her behind all those years? Then you at finally free of her and have to go back to working for her?

All of Rita's henchmen only pretended to like her because she was in charge and Zedd was long gone. Once Zedd came back they no longer had to pretend to love Rita.

not all of them. Goldar was the only one who despised her. Finster wasn't a fan of Zedd since he wasn't making monsters anymore until Rita came back who he was still very loyal to. Squatt and Baboo simply didn't care who was at the helm they'd be following black sludge if it was their Boss we just don't know about Lokar or Scorpina since we never saw Lokar come back once Zedd was on the scene and while Scorpina came back once while Zedd was at the helm she left and never came back

Finister is a good point. But the other ones just gsve Rita the cold shoulder when Zedd first arrived. Squatt and Babboo just went back to kissing up after she came back.

Goldar knew Rita was a threat to his place in the heirachy of the villains. When Zedd wasn't around, Goldar had to be nice to Rita.

Goldar went through a big personality change in season 2 anyway.

that's my point with Squatt and Baboo they didn't care who was in charge.
