It doesn't seem like it. I think its like Jungle Fury and not connected. I mean Season 3 wasn't connected either.

I think its pretty likely they are from one of the 19 Academies. Its too easy of a connection to make.

No one cares to revisit Ninja Storm. And they were actually smart to ignore it. Not that Ninja Steel is really much better.

They are better off not referencing other seasons. Just treat Ninja Steel like its own series. Since the other seasons were all bad. Except for MMPR. But even Ninja Steel isn't MMPR. So it should be treated as a separate series.Its the best companion series for MMPR since VR Troopers.

It would have made seness to go this route. But they didn't and I don't think they would care about inter season continuity if it weren't for the 25th anniversary. I mean they had no problem making DC its own continuity.
