No, they clearly want to do a lot with the brand. Disney tried to do an animated series and did produce MMPR Revision...But were basically ready to sell after that. Hasbro isn't foing whatever they are doing because they are done with the brand. They are a toy company and want to montize their IP. Power Ra gers fits their company better then Disney. The onky similalrity is thst they might notnwznt to adapt Super Sentai anymore...Like Disney decided at the end.

They want to do a lot with the brand. This could be through comics, movies, and possibly an animated series. Who knows they might stick with live action in a way we are not expecting. Really all we have heard is buzzwards and rumors. But it sounds like the status quo is changing when it comes to the current way they adapt Super Sentai. It sounds like they want to produce separate content so they csn appeal to kids and older fans.

Even if the Super Sentai adaption goes away , its possible it could be brought back someday. Its happened before . If it is revived I don't think it will be as quickly as when Disney discontinued the series.

Hasbro is a toy company, they will want to hang on to the Poser Rangers IP indefinitely.

Its more likely Hasbro itself would be sold. Thats the only way Power Rangers is ever sold again.

I could see CBS Viacom buying Hasbro for the ip. They already are in business with them when it comes to movies and television products. Plus they need content for Paramount Plus.

I think Disney should buy Hasbro. That way they can move everything over to Disney Plus.

They wouldn't want to work with Viacom CBS to produce the Hasbro Movies. And I can't see Viacom givening up those movie rights.

Hasbro isn't givening up on the Power Rangers brand. They may be taking it in a different direction. But its not bedause they don't believe in it anymore. They actually want to make it even bigger then it has ever been .

Maybe they could sell the brand but keep the toy rights?
