The acting: Bad or cliché?
Looking back on these old Masked Rider episodes (thanks, Poweranimals), I get to witness the quality of the actors with a fresh viewpoint. Where I thought the family was just unacceptably poor before, I think now that at least the parents were just trying to echo the typical '50s style TV family aspect. Molly was still weak by comparison, and Albee was just a kid, so you couldn't expect too terribly much.
So, what was it? Homage to old skool TV, bad acting, or maybe a little of both? |

I still find the acting to be just as bad as when I originally saw it. Actually, the only thing that has changed is that I know find whomever played Dex to be a worse actor than my memories had reminded me.

I quite frankly disagree. I thought the acting felt real, and Dex still makes me smile. I am glad that I can get these episodes, as well, since I have not been able to find them anywhere else.
