The Green Candle (Discussion)

Production scenarios aside, wouldn't it have made more sense for Jason and another ranger go into the Dark Dimension?

I just finished watching The Green Candle on Netflix, and it got me wondering about this.

Zordon COULD've done the following with the rangers:

A.) Send Jason and Kimberly into the Dark Dimension to battle Goldar and retrieve the candle.

B.) Have Billy and Trini open and close the dimensional gate. Both of them being more intelligent and technologically sound compared to the others.

C.) Have Zack and Tommy take on the Cyclops. Zack being the SIC, could've controlled the Dino Megazord to help battle/destroy the Cyclops.

Yeah, I think its just one of those plot convience things that happen in TV all the time.

Why weren't these re-versioned?

Why did Disney do a crappy 'Photoshop' Batman-esque, comic book POS for a 32 episode season?

They ruined the original series of PR.

For shame Disney, for shame..... :(:(:(:(:(:(

They probably would have done more had it have been successful and kept the franchise. Frankly, I'm glad we just have good old MMPR on Netflix.

Yes hated the new disney version, hope it disappears forever.

I always didn't get that either, Zack goes to get Jason, but why didn't he just go with him to begin with?

I agree that Zordon could have sent 2 Rangers into the Dark Dimension but they were probably too concerned about leaving too many Rangers out protecting the dimension thing since you would have 2 Rangers in the Dimension, you would have at least 1 or 2 protecting Billy's invention and that just leaves whoever is left piloting the Megazord all by their lonesome.
