why would there be? it wasn't a stolen concept they both had a legal contractual agreement.

Now, I don't know the specifics on this next point, but Saban tried to
start MMPR with the previous year's "Jetman", but I read somewhere that the

So, instead, they started with "ZyuRanger" instead.

I don't think that's entirely true since I think the contract spells out how they're gonna be using it if they wanted to do something different then they would have to re-work their contract.
