Should they have used JDF?

When Dragon Knight came out word was that JDF was considered for the role of Len. But it was ultimately decided not to use him to distance the show from Power Rangers. Was it a mistake not to use JDF?

I liked Matt Mullins in the role. But with DK failing to meet expectations I have to wonder if having JDF may have helped them. I don't think it would have made the show look too much like Power Rangers. I don't think that was a good reason not to use him.

I've never seen the show myself perhaps one day I will find a way to but... I can see why they opted to not have JDF on the show. JDF's popularity is for his Power Rangers days and if he was on the show as a different character then I don't think it would work out too good and I can see fans having issues with it as well.

It was a good show. Always thought it was underrated. Its a shame that you cant buy an offficial DVD or legally stream it right now.

But I wonder if JDF would have added at least something to the hype.
