Not a lot happened, but what did was cool.

Masaru trying to take down the Gizmon was nice to see, and man, is that machine strong! It made all three Ultimates look like jokes. It was brave of Mercurimon to jump in and disable Gizmon's beam, I'm gonna miss the big guy, he was a fun villain. But so is the way of Digimon, the constantly revolving bad guy cycle.

Yatagaramon's Digivolution scene was terrific, as was his attack which destroyed Gizmon XT. I hope this means Falcomon will get more fight time in the future. But that might not be true since the kids' memories will be erased next week...
