Guys, I don't know who realized this but mid-way through the season Jen finally stepped back and let Wes take over leader role on Time Force. Rewatch the season if you don't believe me. After Wes finally earned it, he became the official leader and Jen settled into second-in-command role.

It does seem to be the case. She basically asks Alex to let Wes take his place. Alex ultimately lets Wes become leader.

A good theory. I still perfer to think of Jen as the leader with Wes just taking on a bigger role as unofficial field commander. You !ake a very interesting case though.

I think Wes earned more of Jen's trustby that point. Jen was still the field commander under Alex. Who became the mentor .

It would be cool if Wes teamsed up with the Ranger's ancestors and led them .

That was another character that just had a similar suit. Maybe a copy of the same powers.

I could see where the DNA lock could be disabled by the current Red. Alex probably told Wes how to do it.

Wes made more sense to be the leader and was better at it than Jen.
