Potential new Power Rangers movie?

Interesting idea. And it seems that they are making the team its own thing to get out of copyright infringement. I do wonder if using PR will open them up for legal action? Also using Wes and Lucas might be hard? But if this is nonprofit they should be able to get away with it. If its for profit I hope everything works out.

Its cool that a former cast member is leading this. Copon must really care about the genre if be is looking to do his own toku.

Wow ! Time Force is one of my favorite seasons. This looms like it might have a TF feel with Copon involved.

I wish everyone in this project good luck. Its gonna be tough but I hope it works out. Since the more films like this the better.

I'm confused? Is this Power Rangers or not? Is this a real film of fan film?

That confuses me as well since they're using Power Rangers characters (Lucas and Wes) so how can Michael factually claim that it's not a Power Rangers movie when Lucas came from the future and so did Jen and Lucas went back in time to meet up with Wes?

Now if they were just simply using the names it wouldn't be a Power Rangers movie on that alone but because of how Michael advertised it in the promo it certainly looks like one.

I just hope they don't get into legal trouble. These guys have some good ideas. And it sounds like a fun project if they can get it off the ground with production costs and keeping the lawyers away.

It very well could be Lucas and Wes training a team that has the potential to become Rangers. Like, they train them how to fight, how to protect the innocent, but for the sake of not stepping on Saban's toes, they never Morph, or may not even call them Rangers. They might be called 'Power Solders' or some sort of name. Just a thought.
